Show Your Aéro - Mobile & Social Campaign Aéropostale tasked us at TrueAction to come up with a viral/social idea for their Back to School 2012 campaign. This was also an opportunity for them to introduce their new Stytle Ambassador Chloe Moretz. Since many teenagers owned smartphones, we came up with a mobile app idea of a weekly virtual dressing room challenge (which Chloe would help curate) where kids could try on the new fall clothing line without having to go to the mall. The users would be asked to take pictures of themselves performing the challenges and to enter the contest by sharing their photos to an Aéropostale Facebook app which aggregated all the images submitted. By sharing, the users also unlocked a unique coupon which they could redeem online or at a store. On Facebook, Aéropostale fans (over 8 million fans) could vote for their favorite images from each challenge, and a winner would be selected weekly and win an entire Back to School wardrobe.
